The kids and I made a trek to the pumpkin patch today. It was a lot of fun. The kiddos had never been before, I don't think I've been since elementary school so it was a good experience for us. I took so many pictures, 96 actually, when I got home and downloaded them to the computer I couldn't believe it. I loved the way most of the pictures turned out. Reece and Sierra were being so photogenic. There's even a few of me in there, which we all know doesn't happen that often. For the most part we had fun, I couldn't stand how dirty the kids got, next time I definitely wont put them in some of their cuter clothes, but I wanted them to look nice in the pictures. We took Piper along too ,which might have been a bad idea because she couldn't come to the second patch we stopped at so she spent a good amount of time stuck in the car, and it was hard to wrangle her plus 2 kids. the kids had a blast and are down for naps now even though it's already after 3 o'clock, our schedule is going to be a little messed up tonight I guess.

More Pictures
I had to post some more of these old pictures, they are just so cute. These 2 of Reece are so funny, he was sucking on this alligator just like a binky. In the second one you can see how he's keeping it in his mouth all by himself, it was so funny.

So I really suck at blogging lately. I just haven't been in the mood to post anything and I feel like I haven't had much time to sit down at he computer and write. It doesn't help that I'm not the best typist so it takes me forever. I wanted to post a quick update about the kiddos. Reece will getting braces put on his legs sometime in the near future. He had and evaluation at the therapists last Thursday and he said that Reece compensates for the sensory issues by trying to keep as much of his feet off of the ground as possible while he walks, he basically tries to walk on is heels because his toes are the most sensitive. He also has naturally weak ankles which doesn't help the issue. The braces will go a few inches up his leg and to about the arch of his foot.
Sierra hasn't been doing much lately, she's had some behavior issues which we are trying to work on, mostly listening and obeying and not being a pain in the rear.
I'll be working part time starting next week, I'm so excited about this. I feel like I'm just drained from being up at 5 every morning and I'm ready for a change. I'll be working from 7:30 to 12 every day, which means I'll get to sleep in an extra hour and come home to put the kids down for naps. Having the kids nap at home is going to be so awesome. I'll be able to get so much done while they're asleep, and probably get some naps in myself. Yea!

I just spent the last 3 hrs transferring pictures from our old, broken computer to our new one. I thought these pictures might be lost forever since the computer was so crummy, but I figured out how to put them on a flash drive, which I made a spur of the moment trip to Walmart for. It took me forever to figure out how to get them on the flash drive and than forever to do it. i transferred over 1200 pictures. Now the fun begins, over the next few days i get to organize all of them into folders, that should be a really good time. Not to mention taking out all of the red eye. here are a few random pictures I came across. I'll probably post some of these evey now and then just to remember the old times when my babies were still babies.

To PEE or Not To PEE
You may think this post is going to be more on potty training our new little pup, but you would be so, so wrong. Sierra has been having a lot more accidents at home lately, I'm sure it's because of the gates hindering her from freely going to the bathroom on her own, she has to ask us to lift her over the gates to get to the bathroom. So needless to say I haven't been too happy with this and we've been having lots of talks about her telling me when she need to use the bathroom. So today she went outside to play, Reece and I where inside and I was on the phone with MeMe, and I see her pulling down her pants. Being the curious mommy that I am, I don't stop her, but watch her quietly to see what she's going to do. She takes her skirt and panties completely off and continues to bend over and pee on the lawn. Than she stands upright and sees me watching her and gets a sheepish grin on her face. Of course I have to talk to her at that point about how we use the bathroom for those types of things not the yard and she comes back at me with , "remember, daddy let me do it last time." David let her pee in the yard one time this past summer when we were all in the pool and sopping wet and he didn't want to take her in the house. That attempt wasn't even a success because she ended up peeing all over his hands anyway. So now I have to teach my daughter all about potty etiquette.
This picture isn't from today, but it has a nice mischievous look.
