Co-Sleeping

I remember when i was growing up, that I shared a bed with some of my siblings. For a while I remember sleeping with Marshall and Morgan in, probably, a queen size bed. Last night the kiddos asked me if they could sleep together. I was a little bit apprehensive about it because they both only sleep in a toddler bed, but I let them try it anyway. I told them if I heard any talking or playing that i would come back and separate them. They went right to sleep. I found them like this only 20 minutes later, completely passed out.

Dave was worried that Sierra would move around too much and bother Reece while he slept so he moved him to her bed a while later, but he ended up back with his sister after a while because when she came in during the middle of the night he was back in his own bed. They did wake up earlier than usual this morning, maybe because they were a bit crowded, who knows. I just think they look so sweet all cuddled up next to each other.

Exercising

I have been making a lot of progress with my working out lately. MeMe and I walk almost every night for a good 45 minutes, and for the last few days I've actually been jogging. At first I was only able to jog a few blocks, but I've been able to go for about 10 minutes the last 2 days. I meet up with MeMe after running and we start our walk so I'm definitely burning some calories. Dave and I went out and got bikes yesterday too. We've been talking about it for years and we finally just did it. We got a trailer for the kiddos and took our first ride today. OMG! it kicked my BUTT. It was so much harder riding with the kids in the trailer. That'll be another great way for me to change up my exercise routine. Now I just really need to keep up with my healthy eating, it gets so boring eating the same thin all of the time. I guess I need to find some more healthy food that I like.

Progress

I just posted my first week weight loss progress on my sidebar. I am thrilled about this one. I actually lost 5 lbs. in one week. Actually I had lost 5 lbs by Thursday night and I was a little bad this weekend, I went to Olive Garden, so I might have been able to lose more if I hadn't cheated a bit. But I'm perfectly happy with 5 lbs. Hopefully I can keep this up and make good progress like this every week. It makes it a lot easier for me to stick to my diet when I see the progress I've made. Soon I'll be a skinny Minnie.

Gone To Heaven

We had a good friend pass away yesterday morning. She was my little sister, Michelle's, best friend for several years, and a coworker of mine also. She was in a car accident just moments after leaving work on Friday night. This sweet girl was only 16 years old, so young. She was a ball of fire, full of energy. The way I always describe her is "sassy". We will all miss her so much, she touched so many lives. All of our prayers are with this family who has lost someone so dear. Here are a few pictures from the Candle Light Vigil held for her last night. We will always remember you.

Wrangler PBR

Dave and I had a blast last night. Dave had no idea what we were doing until we got to the Arena and he could smell the livestock. He was really excited, he even said he'd heard about it on the radio and thought it would be really fun to go. Our seats turned out to be just fine, it wouldn't really have mattered where we sat, it wasn't hard to see from any location. I was so excited to go on a date that didn't involve going to a movie, we never do anything different so that was really fun. I managed to take a few pics, they didn't' turn out all that great, but they're all right.

Bringing out the cowboys, YEE HAW!

This was the guy I decided to route for, and he won!

This bull was called McNasty, but the rider managed to stay on.

That blur is the rider after flying off.

We had so much fun. I think we'll definite;y try to go to something like this again.
Here's the winning bull ride, obviously I was excited. Dave was really irritated by one particular rodeo clown. He was driving that little monster truck around and dancing during the whole show. He was more of a crowd pleaser than a rodeo clown, but Dave couldn't stand him. The second video is some of his dancing and, probably Dave's favorite part of the night, where he get chased by a bull.

Date Night

I'm surprising Dave tonight and taking him to watch Pro Bull Riding at the Arena. We love watching it on TV so it should be lots of fun to see it live. I think I got pretty crummy seats because i didn't want to spend a a lot of money, but hopefully they wont be too awful. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I've Dedicated

I will be starting my weight loss plan. Actually I started today and it's gone okay, so far. I'm putting a list on my sidebar so I can track my progress and so I have to actually be accountable. I weighed myself on Sunday and I'll weigh myself every Sunday from now on and post the amount of weight lost( I wont be gaining). I don't want to post my starting weight, it's too embarrassing for me, but I will post my progress. I'm planning to kick butt and I hope I can keep up the motivation, changing my diet wont be too difficult, but I really hate exercising, that will take a lot more effort.

Little Monster

This is what I found when I asked Sierra to clean her playroom today.

She spent a good 20 minutes throwing a fit about having to clean up her mess, than cried that she wanted to take a nap instead of clean the playroom, than proceeded to fall asleep on top of her toys in the middle of the floor. Usually when she falls asleep in the playroom she's lounging on one of the bean bag chairs watching a movie, I guess she might have been in the middle of cleaning something and decided to just lay right down and go to sleep, but I don't think she got anything cleaned at all. our playroom looks like this most of the time, I'm the only one who knows how to clean it up the right way, and it takes me a while because I like everything to be in the right place so it doesn't get done very often. Every now and then Sissy will pick all of the toys up off of the floor, but that means they're all just thrown into baskets or drawers and stuffed in the closet. At least she tries to help sometimes.

Cuties

Here's a few more pictures of my adorable offspring.
Reece looked so cute on this night when I went to put Sierra to bed, he'd fallen asleep with his arms spread out wide, what an angel.
He fell asleep on the floor in front of the couch in this one, he'd already taken a nap that day, but needed another one I guess. He was watching Mamma Mia, his favorite movie.

I got these cute pictures of Sierra playing with Piper a while back. it's funny because Piper was actually scared of the boa at first and kept hiding behind mine or David's legs when she saw it, but then she started attacking it.

Pics

I've got tons of pictures on my computer that i want to put up, so when i don't have anything to blog about I'll just post some cute pics.
Sierra and Tanner sharing a soda. So adorable.
These pics of the kids were so cute. For our Christmas card I wanted to put One picture of the kids with piper and than one of each of them alone, but they would only let me have 2 pictures total. I absolutely love the pictures of Reece with his hands in his pockets. As soon as i put pants on him he's asking about his pockets, these days.

Group Bath

While Nichole and the boys were visiting last weekend, we gave all 4 kiddos a bath at the same time. Luckily our tub is pretty good sized and they had plenty of room. I remember taking baths with my siblings and cousins growing up, it always made bath time more fun to have someone to play with. We were only going to do 2 at a time, but when we put Sierra and Tanner in they right next to each other and weren't even taking up half of the tub so we decided to put the little boys in too. I love capturing cute memories like this in pictures.

Reece, Carter, Tanner, Sierra.
Aren't they all so cute.

Update

So , I feel like I've been incredibly busy over the past few weeks. I haven't felt like blogging at all, and I have had so much to blog about that, I think, I got overwhelmed with all of it.I want to do a Christmas post and add a bit of everything else and call it good. Then I can start new.

We had a great Christmas over at Dave's parents house this year. All but 2 of Dave's siblings were there and only one cousin was missing. It was quite a house full, but it was so fun to party on Christmas Eve and to have all of the kids wake up and have Christmas morning together. Reece was actually running a fever for the 3 days we were there so he was pretty grumpy, but we tried to keep his fever down as much as we could and tried to keep his mood up as much as possible. Sierra loved playing with her big girl cousins who are also very much into Littlest Pet Shop's, so they got along great.

When the kids came down on Christmas morning Reece wasn't interested in the gifts at all. He went right for the Guitar.

This is Sierra's Hulk face.

Our little family on Christmas Eve.

After all of the Christmas excitement was over, we came home and actually had guests at our house for 2 nights. My sister in law, Nichole and her 2 boys came over just to hang out while my brother was out of town. It was a lot of fun and the kids played together so well. It was actually pretty relaxing for having company over, sometimes that can be a bit stressful, but it wasn't.

For New Years we went to my brother's house and hung out with most of my family. My mom had come to town so it was fun to visit with her for a while too. We mostly hung out and played games and ate snacks, of course we didn't get to bed until almost 2 in the morning, but ti was a great time, too bad I didn't take any pictures.
We just had Christmas with Dad today so i dont have those pictures on my computer yet, but hopefully I'll be able to post some in the next few days. I'm hoping to get back to a somewhat regular blogging routine. At least a few times a week.
