Hats On

This is Sierra's reaction to Chuck E Cheese.

The kids and I had a big day in town yesterday. After Reece took a nap we headed to Target because I hadn't been there forever and I wanted to find some sun hats for the kids since the sun is finally shining around here. I'm so glad we'll be able to play outside, even though it means hats, shades and sunscreen. We spent a good hour or more in the store just looking around and getting a few things that we needed, when we left it was so warm out that the kids didn't even need to wear jackets, YAY! After Target we went to PetSmart so the kids could see some animals, we had a party to go to for my niece, Faith, but we had a lot of time to waste. PetSmart only adopts out cats, as far as I know, but customers are allowed to bring their animals in to shop and they have a grooming salon inside so we just walked around and Sierra got so excited over all of the dogs inside. Every time she saw a new dog she had to point out something about it,"look, mommy, a big dog","look a brown dog"," that one has big ears", and so on. She didn't want to leave the store, but she finally agreed when I reminded her we were going to Chuck E Cheese's for the Birthday party. She was so excited for the party all day, she couldn't wait to get out the door and was talking to random people in the store about going to Chuck E Cheese. Once Chuck himself made his first appearance she wouldn't leave our side, she wanted to be held and hid from him anytime he came around, she doesn't even like climbing in the tubes. It seems completely pointless to even take her there, except of course that it was for a party, but it wouldn't be one of those places that I could just take the kids so they could play.

Every time the kids see a Chuck E. Cheese commercial they talk about it forever, so be glad Sierra hated it.
