I love this little video of Reece. The nod he does is so adorable, I keep watching it over and over. He was showing off his signing skills.

Biker Boy
I took some really cute pictures of Reece the other day. He was trying to ride Sierra's little bike, he doesn't understand how to use his legs to propel himself forward so he sits on the bike and rocks back and forth, like on a rocking horse. He never actually gets anywhere, but he looks really cute trying. He's getting so much more confident on his legs now which means he's being more risky so I have to watch him closely because he tries to climb on everything, I'm not complaining though, I think it's awesome.
Our Hunt
The kids kinda got jipped this year on the Easter Egg Hunt. By the time we got home from church on Sunday it was starting to rain, I was hoping it would let up by the time they got up from naps, but it didn't so we ended up only being able to do a hunt inside. We only hid about 18 eggs and Sierra was the only on hunting. Reece didn't really care much for it. I feel bad that we didn't plan better and do an egg hunt on Saturday or something, but I definitely know I'll do better next year. I don't even think Sierra realized she missed out on anything, she's been re-hiding and finding all of her plastic eggs for the last 2 days.
Sierra finding her Easter basket. I found a Littlest Pet Shop pail and put a few Pet Shop toys in it, plus lots of candy, of course.
Reece looking in his Spiderman Pail. Dave had already let him find his basket before I got the camera out so we had to stage this picture, plus all of his new star wars action figures were already out of the pail. Oh well.

Dressing Up
The kiddos looked so cute this year for Easter. I saw Sierra's dress at Costco in February and couldn't resist it. By luck I found a hair bow at Walmart that matched perfectly, she looked adorable. Reece had just a plain white polo shirt and dark gray pants, but they complemented Sierra's outfit so well. I actually got the kids pictures done in these outfits too, although Reece was wearing tan pants then.
Sierra was awesome and posed for me to take lots of pictures.

Easter Creations
We had a lot of fun coloring Easter eggs last night. Sierra is finally old enough to do a lot of it by herself so I gave her free reign of the eggs and dyes and she loved it. We ended up with a lot of orange eggs because that color was closest to her,but that's alright. I even gave Reece an egg and crayon so he could be involved, he did great and didn't break either of the eggs he colored. I actually found a Littlest Pet Shop egg coloring kit which came with tattoos to put on the eggs. The process of putting the tattoos on the eggs was way too hard for Sissy, but I had fun helping her and they turned out really cute. Here are some pics of the kids coloring their eggs.

My baby boy
I realized we have no pictures of Reece standing up since our camera died and we only just got a new one. I took a few pics of him in the waiting room at physical therapy the other day. He was sporting his Mohawk, which I think is absolutely adorable on him. He is getting so much stronger since starting physical therapy, he is pulling up to stand all the time. Today at the doctor's office he actually walked while holding a chair, he had pulled up on it to stand and it kept sliding forward, but he kept moving one foot in front of the other rather than going back down to his knees which is what he would usually do. I love all of the little milestones he's meeting. Their actually more exciting when they happen later in life, I think.
He's so proud of himself. Zoom in on this pic so you can see his expression, it's hilarious.

Music Man
Today at daycare the Music Man came to visit. The kids have a lot of fun singing and playing with maracas, and they do a little dancing too. Sierra loves music, her teacher told me she was asking if she could dance before they even got started. Reece really loved the shakers, but wasn't too sure about the Music Man himself. He just stared at him for quite a while, but towards the end he was actually "singing" along.
He had this look on his face for a long time and just watched the Music Man from a distance
Sierra loves music so she just had a blast with her friends(the boy behind her was making sure she knew I was there taking her picture.)

Easter Prep
So we are having Easter dinner at our house this year with Dave's parents and his sister Kim's family. I am a little anxious about all of the preparation that will be involved and the clean up afterward. At least it wont be a huge group of people for the first time we host a family gathering so it should be good practice for the future. We made all of the food assignments today and bought the ham, kinda pricey, so there's no turning back now. At least Dave has the day off from work because I told him if he had to work than we'd probably have to cancel the entire thing, I don't think I could handle the stress of it on my own. Now I just have to get the house in order, so I'll be spending my Saturday scouring the house, anybody with nothing to is welcome to join me, ha ha.

Hoping to Return
Skinny little baby boy, he was showing me his Cheerio.
This is kind of a silly face, but it was the most recent pic I had of her.
We finally got our new computer this weekend, so I'm hoping I'll be able to return to a more regular blogging routine. We'll see how that goes because I seem to be really good at something for a week or two and then I slowly fizzle out. I want to post something everyday because I love being able to keep my family and friends posted on what's happening with our family. The kids are growing up so fast and it's nice to tell all of the cute and funny stories about them and only have to do it once.
To update everyone: Sierra's getting so smart, she's learning new things everyday. Her vocabulary amazes me and her little attitude is constantly bringing a smile to my face. She has a way of melting everyone's heart, even perfect strangers, and getting whatever she wants. For example: we went to Blockbuster to rent some movies the other night and when we walked out of the store I realized she had walked out with a push-pop candy that had a toy plane attatched to it. I told her that she was stealing because she hadn't paid for it and I took it back into the store. When I told the guy behind the counter that she had come out of the store with it he took it from me and then handed it back to me and smiled. I didn't really know what to do so I just said thank you and left. I didn't let her see that he'd given it back because I wanted the stealing lesson to stick, but I kept it to put in her Easter basket.
Sierra's still having some issues with potty training, I shouldn't say she's having issues because she's fully daytime potty trained it's just for naps and bedtime that we're having problems. She wasn't having any accidents, even at bed, until around January then she started wetting the bed almost every night and sometimes during naps. I've heard that it could be because she's having a growth spurt and sleeping more heavily, but it's been almost 3 months now so I guess maybe she's just going to be a bed wetter, Dave and I both were.
Reece is doing really well. We are officially off the Binky since probably the beginning of march, it was surprisingly easy. He lost it one night behind his crib and I just left it there and that was that. He has started physical therapy for his walking and is doing better every week. They say he has sensory issues so he doesn't like the feeling of things on his feet which is hindering his walking. It doesn't help that he's also wimpy and skinny. He's having feeding issues too. He throws up at least once every day sometimes 2 or 3 times. We don't know if it's from an allergy, or his gag reflex, but it's getting a little ridiculous. I'm hoping to get him into the feeding clinic soon so we can get it straightened out. He's already tiny for his age and this isn't helping with the weight gain.
Here's a couple pics of the kids, Okay the pictures were suppose to be down here, but I haven't done this for so long that I'm having technical difficulties.
